This is an online classroom, basically. Teachers can post lessons, quizzes, and links. It is easy to navigate and allows teachers to see feedback and run their classroom online. For students, though, it can sometimes be a bit...boring. From my experience as student.

It is a great way for teachers, students, and parents to communicate using the website/app. 
Pros-  Gives parents a window into their child's schoolwork, easier/faster way to communicate with teachers, easier way to be involved in the classroom, multiple means of action and expression are represented

The teacher uploads a document and students can use the site as a discussion board with the document up at the same time.
Pros: Serves as a discussion board with the document as a part of it.

Sum: A learning management system that allows teachers to build online classrooms and lesson plans.

Pros: Easy to build lesson plans, and navigate. Can embed other tools into it, and link students to outside resources.

Cons: Best used as a class supplement and organizational tool. For my tool I used PeerGrade. This tool allows you to create a class, post assignments, give rubrics for those assignments, give feedback for both students, and the teacher. Allows teachers to see a live look at the grades given on a certain assignment. This tool is similar to this tool Padlet, as it is like a board and you are able to post in it. I'd say it is more beneficial if the students were looking to find other students who have similar ideas to them and then they can discuss it and further a conversation. A pro is that it is very simple, but that could also be a con, as it could be too simple. Students have the ability to interact with one another. Students can comment on things and ideas they find interesting and intellectually discuss their perspectives and thoughts with each other and the teacher. The teacher can see every comment and reply to them, giving the student quick feedback on their responses. The teacher can also choose to make other students' comments hidden until a certain time, so there is no influence from peers that affect the thoughts of other students who haven't commented yet. As the teacher, you can upload any document and then make it available for your students to comment and discuss.

Pros - students/parents can respond/like posts, privacy isn't breached

This tool is used to foster discussions and collaboration between students, teachers, and parents. This tool can be used for large or small groups and can be utilized for a wide variety of uses. 
Pros: flexible and can be used for many different purposes

Skype could be a very effective collaboration tool for educators to use, as it allows for direct and instant feedback between students. It could be a very productive tool for educators to use in their classroom when they wish to directly interact with students or to see students directly interact with each other. Students can even become global collaborators when they interact with students from other areas of the world. It is a simple and easy-to-use tool, so this is why I decided to use it.
