Noah's mom shows no signs of fear with her son admires. When the riots were going on around their home, his mom would not let anything get in the way of her going to church. 
Noah was very grateful that his mother saved his life. 
Noah's mother met his father at her flat in Johannesburg. Noah's dad does not have any part in his life.
