They can not grow any taller due to the lack of tissues to provide structure. Bryophytes grow close together into a cushion-like covering over soil, rocks, tree trunks, and leaves. Bryophytes are covered in a waxy cuticle that helps them to retain water. As water flows through an area, it is absorbed by bryophytes. One reason is the hot and dry climate can produce severe windstorms in the biome. Windstorms can stir up dust that can choke animals living in that area. These strong wind gusts can rip up plant roots, disturb small organisms like insects and birds and cause significant damage to the ecosystem overall. Another reason is the change in the weather patterns due to global warming endangers the stability of the grassland biome. These had the goal of increasing harvests and ending large-scale hunger. A major achievement was enough food available when Earth’s population passed 3 billion people in 1973. Green revolution is a great increase in production of food grains especially 
wheat and rice. This resulted in a large part from the introduction into developing countries of new, high-yielding varieties. Its early dramatic successes were in Mexico and  in Indian. People in the Third World enjoyed a calorie increase of 25%. I chose this picture because the Green Revolution helped fight hunger, extreme scarcity of food and increase in jobs.

Most opiates are classified as benzylisoquinoline alkaloids which can be either naturally occurring, or synthetic. I believe it is the most influential chemical used in the world that is derived from a plant because it helps regulate pain and temperature.
