With partners we researched and reviewed several donor choose projects. Each group filled out a survey explaining and picking their top choice. As a class we voted on the top 3 and the winner was providing funds for a classroom that wanted Flexible Seating. Her students attend Eastridge Elementary School in Indianapolis, IN. She posted that her students are in need of basic necessities like socks, underwear, and sweatshirts. They also need sherpa-flannel blankets so they can stay warm. We wanted to donate to them because we remember how nice it was when the group of kind women knitted and crocheted scarves, hats and mittens for all the students at Genesee. We are so glad we could pay this kindness forward.
