Utilizing videos from YouTube both for instruction and for student presentation a is a great way for students to interact and engage, whether it is posting their own video or watching them to gather info. We are in the video information age and this is very engaging for our students.

I think that students using discussion boards can allow for the students to have an opportunity for think time as well as a way to share their thoughts without the fear of embarrassment of sharing in class. You could use Google Docs/Classroom as a platform and a way for students to share.

I feel that using Clasroom's Stream feature would be a great way to introduce and reinforce good digital citizenship skills(appropriate ways to write comments, respond to other comments, etc) while giving students a voice and opportunity to share their ideas and feelings about life, the topic learned today, what was difficult, etc. Allowing time for students to dialogue and respond to others, while keeping on track, lays a good foundation for other interactive
digital tools that teachers and students will use.
www.classroom.google.com
