When I first taught at CSHS two years ago, I also became a first-year graduate school student in NTNU. I had so many things to do that I gained a lot of weight, reaching a staggering 110 KG back then. I tried my best and lost some weight right now. However, now that I'm in the same situation right now, I'm afraid that I might lost control and gain a lot of weight with the passage of time. You can see how I looked like back then at my peak.

My first experience was the first day of high school. Junior high was close to home, so I usually slept until 7:00. But high school was far from home, so I had to get up earlier. I wasn't used to it on the first day, so I overslept and almost missed the bus. Then, when I got off the bus, I realized I'd miscalculated the time. The first day of school was supposed to be at school at 7:30, but I'd written it down as 7:50. By the time I got off the bus, it was already 7:27. I had to run to get to the school gates. I was so tired.

My grandfather was recently diagnosed with late-stage tongue cancer. This Thursday, I went to the hospital to stay with him during his surgery. The operation lasted about eleven hours, and luckily, everything went smoothly. I felt very relieved when I heard that. But because he has diabetes and poor nutrition, his recovery and the follow-up treatment will be harder.

I wanted to do something for him, so I made a little doll. Inside it, I put some dried lavender and a small note with my blessings. The flower language of lavender means peace, health, and safety. Even though he may not have much time left, I really hope that every day in the future, he can be free from pain and live happily.
