    • I don't think I will use Padlet since there is a limit to 3 uses before you have to pay.

    Bubbl.us seems really neat. It too is limited to 3 maps, but I guess you could delete your old maps when you need to make more. I like that kids can create their own maps with this tool easily.

    I am an EC teacher and my service time requires face to face instruction. Zoom is the only tool I will be using for face to face instruction using research based programs for reading and math goals.     Our district has given us extensive PD in Thinking Maps. I have created Google Draw slides for each thinking map. I use Google Classroom, so it is easy to give students a copy of the thinking map to make their own map. Mindup may be a good alternative, however, I like that the google programs work so well on google classroom.

I combined having students post to a padlet after watching an introduction video on EdPuzzle about our state's geography. I used this as a building background/gauging prior knowledge activity. It was easy to just start doing and the kids were fascinated with it. I have always used post it notes to visually show student collaboration and was concerned about a digital friendly way to carry this out. I will certainly continue to use Padlet and can think of many applicaitons. We explored the Lino also through this study, and I liked it very much as well. I need to investigate the similarities and differences so that I know which one to use when. I have used Poplet but would want to find ways to align it to our Thinking Maps since students are already familiar with these.     Popplet-  I like how students can collaborate at the same time on a common map.  It will be a great way to incorporate collaboration into any lesson.  I love that students can insert pictures and videos into Popplet.  I think it woud be a great way to do a quick mini project in Social Studies.
    Smart Notebook- I have used this for many, many years to create thinking maps.
