Does getting into/failing to get in the stream early at PGY2 make a big difference when trying to apply for the crit care stream in subsequent years? I've heard some junior doctors recommend taking a general med stream and then trying in PGY3 so you don't "specialise too early" in case you get on in PGY2, but then fail to continue in a crit care stream the following year.</div>]]></description>
