1.Trust in government by race and ethnicity
2. While analyzing the graph, I became aware that citizens of the Black and Hispanic community became more trusting toward the govt when Barack Obama became president, and most likely that is due to him being a powerful leader of color. The people must have been going through the thoughts, "maybe I can trust him more because we are from the same group," and with the speeches about helping with DACA and other immigrant policies. I have also noticed that when Donald Trump was elected as president, those same people began to not trust the govt mostly due to his reports about Hispanic people not born in the U.S. being kicked out and building a "wall" to separate everyone from Mexico and the United States. He also mentioned negative opinions about women and used dehumanizing language, so it is natural that a lower amount of people would want to support him and the government. This interested me because I am at a neutral point when organizing my thoughts about the new presidents actions.
