La Cava is a little village located in the South of Catalonia. Nowadays, I'm living in Barcelona because I'm studying my degree here, but whenever I can I go to visit my family and friends in town. 
In my opinion Barcelona is a big city that provides you a lot of opportunities and this is what I really like most, but to be honest, I'm completely in love with my town. I also suppose because is my hometown. 

Catalan is my mother tongue and Spanish my second language. I learned English at school and I also went to extracurricular classes since I was six years old. I never considered that I was good at English but I was interested in learning it because I think that knowing languages is very important. I am convinced that this methodologies will be useful for the rest of the subjects but in my opinion I think that learning new methodologies to teach English are essential for a near future.

As far as the little experience I have in schools, only in the practices I did last year, I was been able to see how education in general has been innovating but I had the feeling that the way of teaching English was obsolete because it was still taught in the same way I learned it at school. After having seen it with my own eyes, I can affirm that English is taught poorly in schools. For this reason many students reject learning English because they aren't motivated on learning it.

However, I would not know how to innovate the methodology because I have never seen anything different. So I can say that what worries me most about this course is not being innovative and creative enough to imagine another way of teaching English.
