• From the main screen of your Clover POS (Flex, Mini, Station), tap Inventory.

• If you don’t see it, check under Apps → Inventory.

2. Switch to the Items View:

• Ensure you’re in the Items list—not sales or reports.

3. Locate the Target Item:

• Scroll through or use the search bar to find the menu item you need to mark as out of stock.

4. Manually Adjust Availability:

• Tap the ellipsis (⋮) next to the item name.

• Select Make Unavailable (or similar wording, e.g., “Mark Out of Stock”).

  • This toggles the item off–no need to adjust stock count on the device.

5. Confirm Changes:

• When asked, confirm that you want to make the item unavailable/inactive.

• The item’s status should update instantly on the POS inventory list.

6. Verify the Status:

• Unavailable items are typically grayed out or shown under a “Not Available” or “Out of Stock” filter.

• Apply the filter to double-check the item is listed as out of stock.
