To share a bit about myself— while I enjoy many things, two of my greatest passions are reading and singing. I love getting lost in books and exploring songs from all kinds of genres, each offering new worlds, perspectives, and stories. I truly believe that sharing these passions can be a meaningful way to connect with young minds and spark a love for learning.

As a teacher, I’m dedicated to creating a joyful, safe, and engaging classroom where children can freely explore, grow, and build lasting memories. Being around children brings me so much joy, and I’m genuinely excited for the year ahead.

To share a bit about myself, I’m a graduate in the course of Early Childhood Education from Assumption College and in this line of work, it makes me so happy to see the different ways that children can grow whether it be in terms of their learning journey or with their flourishing personalities. It’s so amazing to see! ✨

Aside from having a passion for teaching young minds, other interests that I have are music, dance, and games! With these interests, I love using them as ways to build learning experiences that are not only memorable, but also impactful and fun! 😎

I see my friends looking at me! 👀✨

Today, we met our new friends, and what a wonderful day it was! We had so much fun playing, singing, and dancing together. It was such a joy to meet and get to know them. We’re already excited to see them again and share more fun times in our classes! 🎶🎨

This activity isn't just fun—it also helps us strengthen our grip and practice important self-help skills like scooping and pouring. 💦

Shaking the rice in the containers sounded like maracas, and pouring the rice into the big bin sounded like rain~

We were able to see through their tummies and saw the food that we fed them! Feeding Hei-Hei was easy, but Gerry's mouth was a little small so I had to be strong to push the food through Gerry's mouth 🤭

Teacher also had plastic cups and I got to see the different colors make new ones! I learned that red and yellow make orange, yellow and blue make green, and that blue and red make purple. Who knew that there are so many colors to explore and make by mixing! 🎨🌈

I had to be very careful of how I held the broom and control my strength so that I could score that point. If I swung only a little, the pompoms hardly moved! If I swung reaallly hard, then the pompoms would fly! It was a challenge but it was also so much fun! 😎

I got to paint with green and brown paint. Teacher said that we're going to use them for decorations! But I wonder how... 🤔

When I shake it fast, it sounds loud and when it shake it slow, it’s soft. I liked listening to the sounds and it felt like I was making music by myself!

I like holding it and seeing the colors move and dance and the best part was that I got to take it home! 😄✨

There were also sticks so Teacher showed us how to make some Filipino street food with the play dough like fishballs and kwek kwek, and we used plates and bowls to serve the food! I like the kwek kwek because it sounds like a duck 🤭

I used my hands and tongs to match each pompom to the correct bottle. Squeezing with the tongs was a little hand because I needed to use my strength, but it was also fun because they looked like hands, and Teacher showed me how to make them clap too!

While we played, we practiced problem-solving, comparing sizes, learning about weight and capacity, and strengthening our fine motor skills by opening, closing, filling, and pouring. It was so much fun discovering that containers don’t just hold things. They can also be used for sorting, pretending, and creating endless imaginative play! 🌟👀🖐️

I practiced how to use my hands in strong and careful ways like to hold, pinch, and scoop—just like a real gardener’s! The smell of the coffee grounds makes me think the earth is waking up and to watch my little plants grow!

I felt like a treasure maker, using my careful hands to fill the bottle with colors, sounds, and sparkles, one scoop at a time!
