Mr Wong knew that the first few months of schools are difficult for many students, so he was very lenient to them in the first two weeks of school. He also thought that students would develop a better relationship with him. After they have established a good relationship, he can then set rule for classroom behavior and enforce them.

After a short while, many of his students were putting up their hands asking for help. When he was busy moving around to help the students, others began talking and playing around. When he realised several students faced difficulty in understanding the instruction, he should explain in more detail first
3. Mr Chow should not punish the whole class, but actually think deeply why are the students chatting and playing around. Putting him at the back may worsen the situation since he probably will shout even louder.

In this case, Tai Ming has to be put closer to teacher desk, so that teacher can provide timely, essential assistance. But teacher may always available to provide assistance. We think it is possible that pair Tai Ming up with one strong-performing, empathetic, supportive student. So that whenever he is in need, his partner can help him.

P.S. scaffold student can be switched from time to time, so that the peer helper would not overwhelmed.
