         <description><![CDATA[<div>Kersten argues that although ecological sustainability has some merit, sustainability and the social issues following it are overly forced in college campuses.<br><br>Red Herring -<br>uses buzz words such as "transgender," "women-owned businesses," and "police brutality" without context or explanation intended to aggravate conservative audience. <br><br>Hasty Generalization - <br>- "students are pressured - often by paid student "eco-reps" - to conform the smallest details of their daily lives to the movement's norms" - rarely, if ever, are students paid to conform.<br>- "In higher education today, sustainability is an ideology -- not a proposition to be discussed" - completely flawed as most higher education institutions discuss and evaluate the different aspects of sustainability<br><br>Slippery slope -<br>calls more sustainable lifestyle is "authoritarian impulse" and will sacrifice "individual economic, political and intellectual liberty" - not as dramatic and consequential as posed by Kersten<br><br>Entire paper rarely focuses on the benefits of the sustainability and the importance of the movement for the future. Rather, focuses on continuously goes on tangents, calling sustainability a "fad"<br><br><br></div>]]></description>
