Scientists believe that with technology today, we are not far off from being able to bring extinct animals back to life.  The questions remain: Is de-extinction ethical? Should scientists bring extinct animals back to life? How would de-extinction impact human life and ecosystems of the future?

Often the cause of extinction is a species’ inability to adapt to the environment around them, whether that environment consists of a predator, like humans or other members of the upper portion of the food chain, or aspects of nature, like plants or water. The natural course of nature thrives off of the theory of “survival of the fittest”. It would be a shame for humans to disrupt the natural circle of life.
