This allows students to apply critical thought, hone their patternmaking skills and address issues surrounding sustainability in the fashion and textile industries.

I had previously added an assessment component requiring the students to reflect on that social and environmental impact. I am now planning to expand this part of the course to incorporate the SDGs and have students identify which SDG they touch with their business idea and how.

I have an assignment in ECE315 Child Family And Community where I ask the students to create a display with at least 10 varied resources to support children and families on a particular topic. I intend to have one of the topics for them to choose is Climate Change.
