I think that the timing wasn't right at all for them to bombard Sean White with questions about his alleged sexual harassment case. White literally just came in after winning a gold medal. Although his sexual harassment issue is obviously a huge deal since that is a major problem going on in America right now, I feel like it is incredibly rude to ruin his pride about winning his gold medal by attacking him with questions about his case which has nothing to do with the Olympics. When Brennan makes a comment saying "I understand that he would rather not talk about this, but I don't know that he gets to make that call," I have to disagree. I completely get why White wouldn't want to talk about it, and I do think that he gets to make that call. There is a time and place for everything, and it was rude for interviewers to try to pressure him to answer questions not about the Olympics at all.
