Photosynthesis occurs in plants and in bacteria as well. Photosynthesis in plants requires water, carbon dioxide and a reaction of light causes two products to be produced from the plant called glucose(plant food) and oxygen. And through the process of cellular respiration ATP occurs oxygen/nutrients goes into the ATP and then it releases it's waste products.
