Choosing courses is important for us students. I asked myself the question: what am I good at?

I like logic and want to be a doctor. Noticing that Physics and Chemistry fit my skills and goals, I wondered whether I should try them?

It seemed that these courses were difficult, but this might be the best way for my future.

Anyhow, I decided to take these courses. And it turned out that it was the scientific facts that interest me most. It has changed how I see the world-- with logic and ration.

The Journey of Discovery by Yang Zhenning.

I'd like to share the journey of discovery by Yang Zhenning. The physicists firmly believes the symmetry of the world. As Yang Zhenning studied particle experiments, however, he asked himself the question: could this rule be wrong?

He then began to think differently. He noticed that the results seemed strange under certain cases,. Maybe the well-known rule was wrong? It was just an idea, but enough to inspire him to look for more evidence.

Through a variety of experiments, he discovered that left and right weren't perfectly symmetric in nature. And that was the answer to his question.

It was a completely new idea that broke traditional views. It has changed how physicists see the microscopic world forever.
