         <description><![CDATA[<div>Question 6.<br>In photosynthesis,&nbsp; is CO2 a reactant or a product?<br>Co2 is a reactant. In the lab, the elodea in direct sunlight had all it needed to start photosynthesis. Co2, sunlight, and water. Once it started photosynthesis, the water turned back to red, due to the absence of Co2.<br>In this chemical reaction, Co2 was &nbsp; combined with water and sunlight to make glucose. This is why the water turned red, and it is why Co2&nbsp;is a reactant and not a product.<br><br></div>]]></description>
