In 2015 I was given the very challenging task to be the bilingual program coordinator for my school. I had been a teacher for 9 years, but it all felt a bit overwhelming. I went to Cambridge Day unware of what to expect from the event and it was so amazing, I remember almost all the talks I saw that day and how many insights I got from Herbert Puchta on his talk about neuroscience and languages, in which he said "The brain needs emotion to learn". It's funny how a simple phrase can shape a whole bilingual program. I kept that in the back of my mind in everything I developed with my students as well as challenging the teachers who worked with me to do so as well. I also remember the talk Ben Goldstein gave about using Youtube videos as authentic materials in the classroom, and, long story short, that was the kick-off moment of what would become a film festival with videos created by my students, which would later motivate me to participate in the contest to be one of Cambridge's Youtube presenters. I have fantastic memories of all the events I have been in all of these years and I'm so grateful that through relevant and amazing content, I was able to take away powerful insights and shape my career based on them and be where I am today.

I've been attending Cambridge Day in São Paulo since 2010. In 2018 I won a trip to Cambridge in the raffle. I had lots of memorable moments at Cambridge Day, but of course this one will never be erased from my mind. I went to Cambridge in June 2019 and I had an amazing experience. 27th July 2018, São Paulo
I was almost 3 months pregant on my last presential Cambridge Day.
It was the 3rd one I attended with my dear cousin and friend Giovana and my wonderful friend Dani.

As with the previous 2 events, it was a wonderful day of learning. The buzz at the auditorium was great as all the teachers were so engaged and excited to be there!

The online events are amazing but nothing beats the atmosphere at the live events!

Even though I was at home, I took all the advantages to assist online.
I would love to attend to a Cambridge experience one day and know all the people I have been learning from.
I think the pandemic bring us together as ONE TEAM.

This is a picture that makes me cry every time I see it. I had the opportunity of being part of one of Cambridge Brazil's videos, and it was the first time I felt like my story was worth being told. A long journey with Cambridge Day

My bond with Cambridge Day goes back to 2010 when I went to the event for the very first time. At that moment, I lived in a country city of Espírito Santo and the meeting used to be a part-time event. Since then, I have kept an eye on its development. I wasn't able to join the event for many years, but after I came back to my hometown, I reconnected with the experience and have taken part in it for the past years. Cambridge Day is a wonderful chance to open your mind, recharge your batteries, network with other educators, get more knowledge, learn new strategies, get motivated, and be impacted by wonderful presentations and their lecturers.

Thank you very much, Cambridge, for such opportunity! You make a difference in our professional careers and lives!
