Long ago, people lived very differently than we do today. In ancient times, people built the first cities. One of the earliest places where this happened was Mesopotamia. Here, people started writing on clay tablets. They created laws, traded goods, and built amazing structures.

Later, powerful empires like Greece and Rome rose to greatness. The Greeks loved art and philosophy, while the Romans built strong roads and huge buildings. They created systems of law and government that still influence us today. These empires changed how people thought and lived.

As time went on, the world continued to change. During the Middle Ages, knights and castles were common. Then came the Renaissance, a time full of creativity and learning. In recent history, the Industrial Revolution brought machines and factories. This changed the way people worked and lived. By studying history, we can learn important lessons from the past that will help us in the future.

Hang Jebat is one of the legendary warriors from the Malacca Sultanate in the 15th century. He is best known for his friendship with Hang Tuah, another famous warrior. According to the legend, Hang Tuah was falsely accused of treason and sentenced to death by the Sultan. When Hang Jebat discovered the injustice done to his friend, he was furious. He rebelled against the Sultan and took control of the palace, seeking to avenge Hang Tuah.

Hang Jebat’s rebellion caused chaos in Malacca. The Sultan, realising his mistake, secretly released Hang Tuah and sent him to defeat Hang Jebat. Despite their strong friendship, Hang Tuah was loyal to the Sultan and accepted the task. After a fierce battle, Hang Tuah killed Hang Jebat. Hang Jebat’s rebellion and death are often seen as a tragic story of loyalty and betrayal.

This legend has different explanations. Some view Hang Jebat as a hero who stood up against injustice, while others see him as a traitor who disrupted the peace. Hang Tuah, on the other hand, is usually seen as the epitome of loyalty to the ruler. The story of Hang Jebat and Hang Tuah continues to be a popular tale in Malaysian culture, highlighting themes of loyalty, friendship, and justice.
