I want to dedicate this post to one of my favorite loving teachers Mrs. O'neill. Sadly, I don't have a picture of her, but I still remember her like it was only yesterday. She was the one that suggested to my mom that I need to be in special aid because of my disability with learning at school. She passed away in 2007 but because of her, I knew how to do my work in advance because she thought me how to be organized since I knew her. She was such a good, lovely teacher and because of her I know what I need to do in my life and work. I love you Mrs. Cookie O'neill and you are always in my heart.

I love reading and writing so I have a lot of tips to give. The first one is to be in a quiet place with no interruptions. I prefer with music that way it's relaxing but a lot of people prefer to read it without any noise. I love also highlight important information if I am reading a college text book or also just write it down if you can't highlight. Two months ago when I got my first time at FRCC one of my english teachers recommended me to watch a video on how to understand the reading in any book. I highly recommend you guys to watch it and enjoy it. My other tips it's to double read it again especially if you don't understand what you are reading. I sometimes find myself reading the assignment or stories I like to read at wattpad.

How to Remember More of What You Read - YouTube

As a little kid, I had always been such a curious being with a big imagination. I always imagine going into a world filled with fairies and magic talking animals even talking clouds. One evening day during the spring, flowers started to bloom and birds flying around my grandmother's garden. She had a beautiful garden were my imagination grew every time I visit her house, it was just new decorations in her garden and with that came new animals.
"Go and play with the chickens Z"
My grandma at that time was in the kitchen preparing delicious empanadas filled with strawberry jelly, while cooking she told me
to play outside with her new animals. 5 year old me as excited as I got run barefoot on the grass to play. My grandma had a lot of
different animals from dogs, cats, goats, even a cow at one point. "I teach you how to swim" Grabbing one of the baby chickens, I walked towards the bucket
of water and began trying to teach that baby chicken to swim. In that moment I felt how time had just stop when I notice how the baby chicken began to struggle moving those little feathers, it felt like we were in a matrix movie which everything was so slow even the beat of a heartbeat could hear in a slow time . Sadly the baby chicken stop moving and realized it had drowned instead of learning to swim. Even after my grandma yelled at me for accidently killing one of the baby chickens, I learned that I can't expected others to do what I imagen to do. Just like the
baby chicken when I was expecting to swim instead of dying. I still remember like it was just yesterday when the lifeless body of that poor baby chicken was in my hands and I felt like I have committed a real murder. Here I am running towards my house instead of my grandmother feeling like I was running inside a long forest with no ending road towards my parents house. Those memories are something I would cherish my whole life.

I chose the Ted talk video of Get comfortable with being uncomfortable because I can relate to the video. The reason why I can relate, it's because I have also done a lot of dares in my life that I don't feel comfortable, or I was afraid of. Sometimes I feel that we have to risk it and not always be in fear or what people would say or what would happen. We should never put ourselves to danger however, sometimes we need to speak up even if that is not our way of doing it. Luvvie Ajayi faced her fears alone so she could have a new experience in her life. Sometimes I feel that I hold a lot because of my fear. That is the academic Summary I am going to write about.

Get comfortable with being uncomfortable | Luvvie Ajayi Jones - YouTube

"Water, island, Mexico." those words that still reflect in my mind when I first visited Sonora Mexico. It was not the first time that I visited Mexico before, considering that I was born here, however visiting another part of Mexico felt like I was lost in wonderland. Seeing that fresh deep blue water just like the blue color at the sky, was a fantasy in my mind. Woosh! All you could hear was mellow wind flowing through the water and feeling it on your feet. I was dreaming feeling like I was floating but then that is when I heard my father's voice interrupting my dreams without knowing that I was in wonderland. "Let's drink Coconut juice from a real Coconut." I already know how a Coconut taste like but homemade with a real Coconut was a new experience I had never tried before. I still remember the touch of that cold salty water in my feet which looked like it was the sky because of how blue it was. I thank my dad for this experienced I had live. I learned that getting lost in the ocean it's really not that bad. My personal problems were gone while only I had to worried about the sand going into my sandals. What do you do when you want to escape from reality? Puerto Penasco was and still is my escape from reality.

There is no signal in my phone and now I am just driving forward hoping the road can lead me to the nearest town as soon as possible. Tink! Tink! Tink! Now the symbol of gas tank it's turning on and off with a red light. "What I'm I going to do? I'm doomed."
Just because I got into an argument with my mom a few hours ago, I just wanted to escape from my life at only 19 years old. I felt like the world was against me putting a lot of obstacles in my way just so I could fail. Hours before I got lost in the woods, I just wanted to have a relax day, without having to worry but then everything happened so fast when my mom got into a heat argument with my dad. Because my dad left in the middle of the argument, my mother needed to release her anger and who else was in the house?
During the argument, I felt that I just wanted to crawl behind the bed with covers on me and just bawl crying my eyes out like a waterfall. Instead of just leave to the store or park, I decided to just leave out of town and escape from home at only 19, being an adult. Now I am driving out of nowhere feeling like the roads are so long perhaps I cross the country, feeling like I want to start a new life until there is no signal on my cellphone and the gas tank is telling me to stop or I am going to regret it. After 3 long lasting hours that felt like eternity, I was finally able to escape from that dark long road and just little bit of gas. I realized that I can't escape my problems just leaving and thinking of not coming back. Because of my experience with the woods on the road, I feel that I have to face my problems. I wonder if I didn't get lost that day, would my life had change? Perhaps I would still think that escaping was my solution. Have you ever feel like escaping after your day doesn't go as plan?

Luvvie Ajayi describes how we are all a domino when it comes to facing our fears in public. Everyone is afraid of something, either confronting when something is not right or just saying your opinion without feeling that you are getting hate for it. She said that sometimes we are hiding our talents because we are afraid of the future or what if. She said that sometimes it's okay to be afraid but not let the fear control our minds because we are afraid. For example, she went to another country by herself, got inside the ocean and got out on a parachute from a plane, something that she would never do in her life until now. She said that sometimes we have to be the first domino to fall so the other dominos can fall as well.

I am not a person that likes to pick fights or fight back when they are picking on me. I started to fight back 3 years when I started to work at T Mobile with rude customers that came into the store. It is hard to just ignore someone being negative towards you or feeling like you can't do it because you are a failure. I started to be the first domino to fall first when I saw a rude customer being such a bully to my nice coworker, he was just trying to explain something which I don't remember now what it was. I was the first person that step in feeling like a powerful lion saving his kingdom from the enemy. I told my mom about my fears and my insecurities, and she told me that sometimes you just have to fight back. Fighting back when the situation gets worst but to never fight on purpose. My fears besides being confrontational, is failing college. I don't want to fail and that is why I have to be the first domino to prove that I can do it, being in control.

When I began to write about my origin stories, there was one that got stuck with me and it was when I went to visit my grandmother and sadly killed a baby chicken. My story was about how little old me was just curious about life, how everything worked that I remember like it was only yesterday when it happened. What I was actually trying to talk about in my first origin story, was how the death of a little animal affected me in so many ways. The theme that I saw emerging was how my imagination was curious about everything around my grandmother’s garden. How the animals always came to her house to visit my grandmother, including the chickens too. I learned that sometimes when we expect that others would do what we have in our minds, it actually doesn’t happen that way. Even though my grandmother didn’t get mad at me for accidentally killing that baby chicken, she still told me that we can't expect anything from no one. From there the theme could also be a disappointment but with relief. I am still curious about our next adventures with the class and how we can write more stories.

The main idea of the post is how our brains firstworksk befor going into our imagination. The author says in order for the people to think how imaginatin works, the people need to think what they can remember for the whole day. "Sticking with conciousness for a second, your senses are only really taking in a small amount of information at a time." For example, our memory can't remember all the details unless is something shocking like a death of a family or a proposal, or breakup. Our brains works in a different way depending on the people and the author when talking about brains gives a few examples. That is why our imagination can be a bit different from other people imagination. I believe that every people is in fact different even when they want to start a family. We have different think of views when it comes to our daily lives.

"What does the average person see?" " Let's start with what it's possible for their imagination to see. The evolution of an "imagination" serves a pretty obvious purpose: a creature with this facility can consider possible future courses of action, and their outcomes, and pick a wise one, and go on to eat." When it comes to the average of what the person sees it depends on what they are seeing. Sometimes the person doesn't want to see a specific thing, so they pretend that they don't see it or in the end forget what they saw. What does see in the daily life, has to do with imagination? That's an easy answer. For instance, people who want to have an imagination, need to see the world and explore it in their own way. For example, people that can't see can also use their eyes, nose, and touch in order for them to imagen things in their minds. There is a lot of ways for the people to be creative while imagining in their minds.

2013 Imagination.. How does it work? For instance, creativity comes from the imagination including the way they think, write, draw, and paint.
Stop 5 How to stay calm when you know you'll be stressed?

In the Ted talk "How to stay calm when you know you'll be stressed" by Daniel Levitin. he talks about how our brain works when it is overstressed. Levitin starts by saying a personal story based on his experiences when he was feeling stressed and overwhelmed. Levitin starts by saying how one freezing night, he forgot his house keys inside his own house so he couldn't open the doors or windows. Levitin only option was to break a window from his garage door and not wait for a locksmith. Levitin had a lot of stuff to do like calling his contractor to fix the window, to not forget his passport for his flight to Europe. Leviting shared to his friend Daniel about what had happened "And Daniel shared with me that he had been practicing something called prospective hindsight." that is based on psychologist Gary Klein that have written pre-mortem. Leviting says that is pretty much an idea on what to do when things don't go their way.
Response:
Everyone that is feeling overstressed or overwhelmed with homework, school. life, family and work should definitely watch this video of Daniel Levitin and how to deal with stressed. There is a piece of advice about how the brain works and it goes like this. "There is a structure in the brain called hippocampus, that evolves over tens of thousands of years to keep track of the location important things." What it meant was that the people need to find or make a locate spot for their stuff like car keys, house keys, cellphone, TV control. Because when people are feeling stressed or overwhelmed, they seem to forget everything, even how to breath for a second. That is why it is a good idea to just stop and relax. It is not good when the people feel stressed because they can make a lot of mistakes like the speaker name Daniel when he forgot his passport.
Update:
It happens to me all the time, especially on school and work. I feel that I need to do this assignment for today or tomorrow and in the end, it was due a month ago. Sometimes I leave the keys of the car inside the car, and I lock it thinking I have the keys. I completely feel about being stressed and that is not good because I start to make a lot of mistakes or forget something. I will start to listen to Daniel Levitin advice about making special spots for something. Over think my ideas so they don't go away, or I forget about them. My word count for my summary is 168.

In the Ted talk "The Trick to Regain Your Childlike Wonder" Zach King talks about how a box is more than a box in the eyes of children. He began by asking the adult what the object he had was and of course everyone mention it was a box. King began to share a story about his childhood where a big box was more than a box to him. He began to imagen that it was a Rocketship, also a submarine having such a big imagination until one day, his father had to put the box away in the garage. Later Zach grew and started to use the box but not for playing, instead for storing until he got married and had kids. His kids told King that the box was something else besides the box. "So why is it that you and I, as adults, we look at something like this and we just call it what it is, a box. But our children, they can see it for more possibilities. Zach also talks about how him being a filmmaker also helps him to imagen new ideas about our imagination. Zack starts to refer how a cup of water can now be a piece of cake, so he films his imagination.

Respond:
Everyone has a big imagination including myself. I feel like Alice in Wonderland just getting lost with weird animation objects. Ever since I was a little girl, I used to imagen a lot of stuff like the tree was actually a rocketship. It's funny because sometimes when I am at work, I began to imagen that I am lost in an island and relaxing. It is okay to think something more creative like being lost in the forest or something more creative too. Sometimes we just need to be lost in our mind so we can forget about our personal problems and take a big break. It's hard when you don't have time to sit there and relax while listening to music and imagen in your head. For instances, in an episode of SpongeBob SquarePants both him and Patrick got inside the box creating an imaginative word around them. That is the spirit of childlike imagination.

Update:
Whenever I want to be distracted or just ignore the world, I let my inner creative child take control of me. I sometimes need to relax and let my imagination take a little control over me. My mom says that I have always being in wonderland because everytime they try to call me, I just ignore them. I like to imagen that the tables and chairs are up on the air dancing on theirs selfs. My word count for summary is 212. My word count for respond is 150. My word count for update is 75

Second strategies are to open tabs in a browser and read laterally including Wikipedia

I decided to open different tabs and search in different database about what I will talk about which is how our imagination changed through our years. Later I found more of those topics on EBSCO database research and found even documentary about my topics that include pictures and stories.

As of right now, I don't have any questions however if I do then this will be updated.

I want to get others to think or do is to research more on their topic and find documentaries on youtube or other social media that will help with the project because it has helped me a lot so I advice other to try it.
