BeReal is the social networking platform for which I am creating a privacy policy. A new software has arrived in town, with the goal of moving users away from social media's hyper-manicured and overproduced world and toward the authentic. BeReal, a photo-sharing app founded by former GoPro employee Alexis Barreyat in January 2020, has already gained traction among Generation Z users. Every day at a different time, everyone is notified simultaneously to capture and share a Photo in 2 Minutes. A new and unique way to discover who your friends really are in their daily life. Personally, I don't find privacy policies to be very interesting and I've never read one in its entirety. I normally don't read them because of their length. I'll design a privacy policy that suits my needs while engaging with BeReal after reviewing Anderson's Instagram policy’s for children.

1. The right to delete my BeReal image and for it to be taken down off the internet. The images and information that I have given to be permanently deleted at my request. Also, for my account in its entirety and images that I have posted in the past. Also any information given by me or about me to be deleted if requested.

2. Children and young people have the right to know who owns or profits from their personal information, what it is used for, and if it is duplicated, sold, or exchanged.

3. That is the right to know who has access to my data, as well as what, why, and for what objectives it is shared on BeReal. And a significant decision on whether or not to participate in the trade.

4. The right to be informed that my profile and data is safe and won’t be leaked to scammers which will be used against me.

5. the right to digital literacy, or the ability to comprehend the use and purpose of the technology you use and/or create. This to be explained by BeReal.

The rights outlined in the privacy policy were the ones which I felt were the most important. The right to remove content for me is an absolute necessity and relates to Andersons first policy. It is essential that people especially young teens have privacy rights which are agreed upon before setting up an account for security and safety. It is also essential that you do get off your phone and live so the right to be informed and conscious use is vitally important to remind users to get off their phone and enjoy life.
