the people who publish their works on the internet spend a lot of time on it. however, those who just copy and paste it to use it without acknowledgement are somewhat like feeding off the owner's effort. 

copyright also gives the original owner a sense of ownership

question 3 : how would you feel if you were the creator of an original piece of work and you found out that someone had made use of your work without permission? 

angry, upset, resentful : because the person "stole" my work without crediting me. 

a bit glad : because i feel that somone appreciates and like my work. 

question 4 : what happens if there is a widespread violation of copyright laws? how could it affect the society? 

others will feel like it is okay to continue stealing copying others work. the original owner would then feel unfair as he or she is not credited for his or her original piece of work. in a sense their efforts are being wasted as they are not recognised. 

question 5 : why should sheldon do if they do not want to violate copyright laws? 

- create a new slide to put in all the links of where the pictures or sources came from 
- cite the source, there is a citation website online, making it convenient and easy.

Judy was too lazy to do her project from scratch and she thought it was easier to copy somebody's work to make it easier and faster.

2) Why do we have copyright laws?

The creators of the work will recive credit and the correct recognition for their hard original work.

3) How would you feel if you were the creator of an original peice of work and somebody stole your work?

We will feel very disappointed and angry because somebody stole our hard work and the recognition for it that you deserved.

4) What happens if there was a widespread violation of copyright law? How would it affect our society?

We will not be very open or proud of what we created and be more reserved with our own works in the fear that we will just get copied over and over again.

5) What could Judy do if they do not want to violate copyright laws?

She could paraphrase it and use it for inspiration as well as credit the original work instead of copying almost the entire thing.
