Calvin stressed God’s power and man’s predestined fate. He then won over the city’s leaders and his strict and severe ideas were enforced. John Calvin was a humanist, He spread his ideas throughout Scotland, France and other countries like Belgium and the netherlands. This is significant because he wanted to spread his ideas and change the world to be a better place.
