There’s this one frequent member who always says super uncomfortable stuff. Honestly, I’d say she’s kinda challenging because she just blurts out the wildest things sometimes. And in my head, I’m like... has she ever wondered why people don’t vibe with her? It’s probably because of the things she says.

Like, last time, she shared that someone asked her why she’s single. She got annoyed and was like, If I wanted to, I could be with your husband. I could steal your husband. …HMM i was thinking, Was that really necessary??

Dealing with members who have these kinds of weird takes is tough, maybe it’s their culture, upbringing, or just how they communicate.

This whole situation made me realise that sometimes, we don’t even need to engage or challenge these kinds of comments. Instead, we can just acknowledge, redirect, or move on instead of giving them more attention than necessary.

Like I mentioned in the crisis meeting tadi - when someone keeps complaining but doesnt want to do the work to improve themselves zzzzzz. They say things like "i dont know what to do, i need an advice" but when we do give them advice they're like "nah" 😊

Also annoyed at some members who complains about many people but doesnt seem to realise (or want to realise) that they might be the problem too with the way they're behaving 🫠

Or members who never/rarely talks with Nani but when they come, the only thing they say is just complaining about Naluri rudely. Okay 👍🏻

When facing these kind of members I usually release my emotions to ChatGPT or a team member before answering hahaha but then I take a deep breath and sometimes consult ChatGPT to give a neutral response.

For onsite members, the most annoying thing is when the male workers are flirting with me instead of asking about Naluri. I use that opportunity to try to engage them with Naluri and ask them to do the specific task for that day but yea sometimes annoying jugak!!! Or is this an opportunity to get sugar daddy, I could use the money 💸 HAHAHAH JK

Happened at onsite, he kept on making fun of mental health & saying how much he’s ‘suffering’ and ‘stressed’ and ‘need professional assistance’, but kept on laughing & saying that same sentence just to make his colleagues laugh. The urge to be a bitch is very strong, but I kept on shutting him down by smiling & confidently saying its not a shameful & weak thing to be having mental health issues & how much we can help help him with his issues. He backed down because no one was laughing & I kept on ignoring his snarky sentences.

A clingy member

So before this, we have a member that is super clingy to us, like she will put tag on every Nanis, like we do have our 'own' tag. She will be emotional with us sometimes if we reply late, like if we want to pray, sometimes we need to tell her okay kalau tak, dia merajuk. I am super annoyed that time. If we had our ChatGPT at that time it would be super useful, but no. We didn't have it that time. So I just accept it and make a gap and change my tone from friendly to a robotic tone. And at last, she is not with us anymore hehe

I really like wanna scream in front of them, but then smash the apple!

But I always end up with istighfar, talk to myself like angry, stay in silence for 10 minutes, then back to work.
