Some may say wood, bricks, concrete.
Mine is made from more than that,
my home is a person, my home is my sister.

We grew up together, we fought, we laughed, and we cried.
She made me feel safe when things turned gray.
She taught me everything I know.
It was just us against the world.

She is strong as the ocean,
and beautiful as the moonlight. 
She is my right hand,
and the place I can go when everything is falling apart.

She lights up my days just with a smile.
My life would be sorrowful without her.
She is my roof on rainy days.
Home is wherever I'm with her.
