         <description><![CDATA[<div>Elie Wiesel was born on September 30, 1928 in Sighet, Romania. Wiesel and his family were victims of the holocaust that happened during WWII. President Jimmy carter sent an appointment with Wiesel to appoint him as the chairman of the President's commission of the holocaust. He died in Manhattan, New York. He received the nobel peace prize in 1986.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Daily Life in Camps</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The lives of the people that went through the camps was harsh and difficult. Prisoners suffered and were abused/ The SS were brutal with the prisoners and believed that they deserved to be poor. They sometimes did not have blankets when the weather was 30 below 0. Prisoners were starved and ultimately ended up weak and look like living skeletons.</div>]]></description>
