It perpetuates the idea that women are 'supposed' to have children, whilst also expecting them to have successful careers as well, with an expectation that having children later is the ideal. When to have children is a personal choice, and I believe that promoting egg freezing makes women feel pressured to delay their childbearing, even if they don't want to.

If women are fully informed of the risks of delaying having children and know that ART does not guarantee that they will become mothers then it can be beneficial, as we still live in a society where men are sometimes favoured in the work place due to them not having the same time commitments that women do when having children. I think by having the option to choose when they have children this could help to eliminate some aspects of the discrimination some women suffer in the workplace.

Having formal documents stating you're donor-conceived would probably change parental attitude, 'forcing' them to be more clear.

I think as long as there was no way of a prospective employer of third party finding out they were donor conceived by means of an unrelated area, i.e. job interview, this would be OK. For medical reasons this could avoid a lot of issues. However I believe mandatory disclosure from parents would have to go alongside this

I think it would be useful and truthful for this info to be available...but there should be a way to prevent children seeing this info before they are old enough to understand. A child may see the certificate for various reasons at a young age and may not be able to comprehend the information that they see.

There is a such a grey area, but if the monetary compensation is adjusted to the country of the surrogate to reflect an appropriate/agreed upon living wage and risk wage for potential problems then it could be ethical if the woman chooses this path on her own.

No - because you can never know the motivations behind the surrogate's choice. You don't know if she is being forced or not, whether she is miserable about the whole thing but feels she 'has' to because her family needs the money.
