A favored servant not called slaves though. Oney practically lead herself into being lady washington's servant, or in others perspectives washingtons personal lady. It is a luxury to Oney She gets treated better than most of these slaves, She gets wealthy clothes and meals. Then She secretly learns to read and right and all though this is illigal lady washington kept the secret. Then Oney accompanied the General's family to New York and Philadelphia. Then mama took oney to a sell and mama bought a stolen dress and her daughter snitched so she had to work in the fields and with harsh labor so she kind pushed away oney. And during the war she would sow for the soldiers and generals Then a group on a ship came to rob the town and mama went with them and she was treated harshly and got smallpox and it ruined her face. Then she got home and oney would check on her every one and a while then one day her mom said, when u have the chance run and be free.
