I've bought a total 4 books this semester and have had to ask my parents for over 300 hundred dollars for money with books. It's very stressful and annoying, because although my parents can accommodate imagine all the people who don't have that support system it's not fair.

Most students from previous years likely never use these past the class. I feel it would be much easier to collect the books at the end of the semester to reuse for the next group of students!

Not having to deal with a financial burden would be amazing. I have had classes in the past that said we would need the book, but then we never used them or we used it 1-2 times and that was it.
