Through platforms like Instagram, I have the opportunity to share my journey, insights, lessons learned, and the encounters I've had along the way.

When he said that the obligation to amuse myself was entirely my own; he was right. It is up to you to look for the environments in which you can flourish. It is entirely up to you to find something meaningful to yourself and something you find engaging.

Is this deadly routine really necessary? And if so, for what?” (Gatto 116)

#connection

I completely agree with what he said regarding the necessity of learning so many unneeded subjects. Never mind; certain lessons are needed but only the fundamentals. I know some subjects do benefit us and are important for our education but there are certain life necessities we need to learn that I believe schools should teach. I was always told by my parents that everything you are taught in school you will need throughout your life but in this text Gatto explains how we are taught so many subjects that we don’t really need for our future.
