Concord had a lot of weapons and ammunition. The British were planning on burning the weapons and the ammunition so the American Milita cannot use the weapons. Little did they know the Americans were waiting for them.
8 colonists lay dead, and 1 British soldier wounded. 
These were the battles that kicked off the revolutionary war.
