Teachers/invigilators will go over PACC Exam Regulations with students prior to the exam.

All exams must be numbered.  The student will be required to sign for his or her copy of the exam at the time of examination. Unused copies of the exam will be returned with the corrected exams. In that case, students cannot be admitted if the audio/video has begun.

  • Students have been expelled from the room due to a prohibited electronic device
  • Students have been expelled from the room due to cheating
  • Students have left the exam room before less than half of the allotted time has elapsed
If a student needs to go to the bathroom, please contact Reception through the intercom.

Exams must always remain in the Centre. They may not be taken home to correct.
Exams must be stored in a locked cabinet or drawer in the teacher’s room during the correction period
Every precaution must be taken to maintain the confidentiality of examinations as they are being corrected.
When you return your exams, answer key and CD (if applicable) to the bookroom or reception, fill out the bottom portion of your exam request sheet. All exams must be returned.

The version of the examination used must be different from the version that the student failed.
French, English, science & options: Due to the nature of these Reform examinations, retakes will be granted at the discretion of the administration and in consultation with the teacher.
The following students are not eligible for retakes: Students who obtain below 50% on the exam must retake the course. Students who want to improve their mark must retake the course.

Teachers must notify administration about these situations. Teachers must complete a “Testing Centre Request Form” in advance and hand it in to the office.  Indicate which exam version was written in class so that the student does not receive the same version. If the student is no longer registered in your class, the mark is entered on a separate Exam Only form.  
The teacher is responsible for correcting the exam. All exam results, regardless of the mark obtained,  must be recorded and submitted to the office on the mark sheet. Every student must have a mark or a code. It is essential that the mark sheet reflect the exact information as the attendance sheet. If the exam takes place over several days, the teacher must use the date of the student’s last exam on the mark sheet.  The mark sheet must be signed and dated in blue ink and handed in to the office later than 5 days after the last exam has been written.
Codes can be used instead of marks in the following cases: ABD (Abandon) for students who have some attendance but who have abandoned the class before the end of session, or for students who are absent for an exam without a valid reason.
