Hello, my name is Dayana Carrillo Moreno, I am currently 19 years old and I am a psychology student. I speak Spanish because I am Colombian and in my free time I like to spend time with my boyfriend or my family as well as listen to music, go for a walk, do crafts and watch series or movies. 

I am from the municipality of Gacheta - Cundinamarca in Colombia but I currently live in the capital of Ecuador in a big house with my boyfriend and his pets. The city where I am living has: tourist sites, parks to hang out or play sports with family or friends and several shops, supermarkets and pharmacies where you can find all the products you are looking for, compared to the municipality where I am from, because in this You can also find all those sites but not the same quantity of products or their quality, since their territorial extension is much smaller.

However, my routine has not changed noticeably, it consists of getting up at 6 or 8 am to have breakfast from 8 to 9 am. and then study 6 hours a day all week dedicating two days to studying English, because I'm not working yet so I have more free time, which I use to help with the housework and do some of the activities that I like to do in my spare time.

I'm almost always having lunch between 1 and 2 pm, dinner between 8 and 9 pm, and going to bed between 10 and 11 pm. not to mention that when I leave the house I'm usually back at 5 or 6 pm.

R/: Aunque no participe en las primeras semanas de la actividad, considero que si participe en el foro dentro de los tiempos indicados.

R/: Participe en las Web conferencias, en los B-Learnings, y en el Foro de la tarea, aunque en las reuniones siempre alcance a presentar fallas con mi conexión a internet. 

R/: Aprendí la estructuración de las preguntas con sus debidas respuestas, a formar párrafos con ayuda de las respuestas y los conectores brindados, a realizar mi presentación personal, a describir mi rutina y mi lugar de residencia o de donde soy.

R/: Es muy importante lo que estoy aprendiendo porque en las instituciones en donde estudie lo enseñaban muy poco y casi todos esos docentes solamente repetían las temáticas año tras año sin profundizar en la materia y sin preocuparse si los alumnos aprendían o no. Por esa problemática considero que lo que estoy aprendiendo es muy importante ya que, a la hora de buscar un trabajo decente, salir a viajar o migrar a otros lugares, es primordial conocer de este idioma por ser universal, para que de ese modo sea más sencillo poder interactuar con algún extranjero.

R/: A porta de forma muy significativa, ya que con lo aprendido puedo notar que ahora puedo estructurar mejor mis oraciones, así como entender la mayoría de palabras simples en algún texto sin la necesidad de estar traduciendo todo el contenido, además e también notar unas mejorías en mi pronunciación, pero todavía sigo teniendo falencias al pronunciar rápido o de forma normal alguna oración.

R/: The municipality of Gacheta has: tourist sites, parks to hang out or play sports with family or friends and various stores, supermarkets and pharmacies where you can find all or most of the products you are looking for, but Gacheta is small compared to other municipalities in the region. In the same way, where I am currently living, it has all of the above but in greater quantity and quality, in addition to having a large extension of the territory.

R/: I usually get up at 6 or 8 in the morning.

R/: I usually have breakfast between 8 and 9 am.

R/: I'm not currently working.

R/: Lunch between 1 and 2 pm.

R/: When I go out I usually back home at 5 or 6 pm.

R/: I spend time with my boyfriend and help with the housework.

What time do you go to bed?

R/: I go to the bed at 10:00 or 11:00 pm.

R/: I usually stay at home spending time with my boyfriend, watch movies or series and go for a walk.

R/: I study English every other day in the week.

The main touristic places in Gacheta are the parks (main and secondary), the cemetery for its peculiar construction and its rural areas for its fauna and flora.

- What is the typical food in your city?

The typical food in my city are the tamales, the wrapped, the sancocho and the corn arepas.

- What are the main celebrations in your city/town?

The main celebrations in my city are the fairs and festivals, the san pedrino festival, the cultural week, the day of the language and the day of the peasant.

- What activities can you do in your city/town?

In my city I can go for a walk, skate or ride a bike, go to fun or quiet plans, go to the thermal pools, rent a cabin, go to restaurants and enjoy meals.

On this occasion I will tell you about the town where I live Gacheta is a somewhat small municipality that is located in the department of Cundinamarca and in the Guavio region. The main tourist places are the parks (main and secondary), the cemetery for its peculiar construction and its rural areas for its fauna and flora.
