Perseverance is the key to a successful leadership.
7. In leadership, you have many lovers and haters. You cannot make everyone like you. Even prophets were disliked by many people.
8.

1. Leadership is a combination of forces, challenges and opportunities. Not all leaders will take hold of opportunities. COVID-19 is the biggest challenge. Everyone is remote.
2. Leadership is 70-30 game. Seventy percent is for people & 30 percent is everything else.
3. Learn to step back. Sit back and listen.
4. Walk things off to see if there are new ideas.
5. Sleep on things.
6. There is no right decision but rather the best decision.

It’s always better to make the best decision. You will find out whether you’ve made the right decision.
7. There is no perfect formula. Parameters will always change.
8. You will fail people, and people will fail you. No matter how great you’ve been doing, you’ll fail people

People will also fail you.
9. Learn to forgive yourself and forgive others. Always important to learn from your lessons.
10. Develop a sense of humour. Laugh it off.
11. Fair is never equal.
12. Think of smart trade-off. You need to prioritize and look at the setbacks. Smart trade-off entails prioritizing, entails weighing, and foreseeing the future.
13. You have to know your strengths and weaknesses. Communication is an important part of leadership.
5. Take things a little slow. Take the time to observe - who are the people around you, who are the parties that will be affected. It always helps to observe. Look before you leap.
6. Delegate to those who are willing and able. These factors need to co-exist. If one of them is missing, it will not work. Willingness and ability are important.
7. Working with the right people is crucial in determining success. You have the right people on the bus, right people off the bus, right people on the right seat. Focus is on the right people on the bus and right people on the right seat.
8. Do what is right.
9. Understand the rationale. Look at the goal, which can be greater than what we believe in.
10. Leadership is not based on title. I don’t think leaders have to argue with everything.
