The APPEAL MrsKyongDavis https://padlet.com/mrskyongdavis/wcbh3fndmw03/wish/237568541 The Problem:  Habitat loss is the main cause for the decline in numbers, and it is clear that the amount of habitat supporting monarchs is declining.  Milkweed leaves are the only food source for the monarch caterpillars.  When there is habitat loss, there is no more food for the monarchs.
The Solution:  Fortunately, our school can be the ideal habitat for the monarchs.  There is already an established garden at our school, but we do not have milkweed plants that the monarchs need in order to survive!
