I learned that housing insurance covers not only your home but also any detachments such as sheds, garages, as well as all of the belongings within your home. Before researching this topic I was under the impression that home insurance only covered your physical house but I realized it covers a lot more.

Provide a real-life example of how this topic is relevant or interesting to you?

This topic is relevant and interesting to be because i will be in the market for a house in a few years and learning about home insurance really opened my eyes to how important it is. If there was even any accidental damage to your home such as wind storm, or fire its automatically covered (After an investigation proving its at no fault of your own) you will be provided fund or a new residence.

If you could pass on your knowledge to a family member or friend, what do you think the most important thing to pass on would be?

The most important thing I would pass on would be to make sure everything in your home is covered, its better to be over protected than under protected and not having home insurance is a huge mistake.
