There are large conflicts between the Sunni and Shiite groups in the Saudi Arabia and Iran. The conflict has lasted for over 1,400 years and has taken the lives of over 60,000 people. Most of the Shiite group lives in Saudi Arabia and there is zero tolerance for religion.

During times of worship, all shops, restaurants, radio and television stations must close.

Practices of other religions, except Islam, is forbidden. Anyone practicing other faiths are subjected to interrogation, humiliation, imprisonment, and flogging.

Non-Muslims that are caught practicing their faiths in public are taken to filthy detention centers and are left to survive the harsh conditions.

If they are foreigners, then they are left in the detention center until they are deported.

If religious prisoners appear in front of a court, then they are faced a biased judicial system with extreme judges, who consider non-Muslims infidels.

On Thursday, September 11, John Kerry arrived in Saudi
Arabia as part of his trip to the Middle East and Europe to gain allies for the
fight against the terrorist groups, ISIS, ISIL, or the Islamic State. They have
beheaded three people, two American journalists and one Britian, and everyone
agrees that they must be stopped. The president sent Kerry Wednesday to
Bangladesh to gain support and will travel throughout the Middle East and
Europe in the next upcoming days. Kerry said in a tweet that, “We’re uniting
that world against a unified threat and the President’s strategy will succeed
because doing [this] with allies and partners is smart and strong.”

On the morning of the 13th anniversary of 9/11, Kerry met
with the Saudi Foreign Prime Minister Prince Saud al-Faisal and met with King
Abdullah in the evening to discuss the issue at hand. He is also to attend an
anti-terrorists conference that is hosted by Saudi Arabia with different
country leaders attending. Such countries include Egypt, Jordan, Iraq, Kuwait,
Lebanon, Oman, Turkey, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, and Qatar.

During the meeting, some countries are willing to take
actions and talk strategy with the United States. Some countries such as
Jordan, Egypt, Iraq, and Lebanon, are willing to provide the U.S. with aid of
the air strikes on the terrorists groups. Other countries will provide minimum to
no support for the U.S. Especially Turkey, who clearly stated that they do not
want to be involved with this terrorist group. For the fact that many ISIS
people are passing or getting resources through Turkey. If they decided to join
the fight against the terrorists groups, then their country will possibly be the
grounds for a huge war with ISIS groups rooted in their territory.

Saudi Arabia has decided to give minimal support. They have
decided give support by providing a location for moderate Syrian rebels. There
are still questions that need to be answer on whether or not Saudi Arabia will
give any more support for the United States. But the answer will lie on the
advancement of the ISIS group and how they can affect the country.

Partnering up with Saudi Arabia can be beneficial towards
the cause. They are the biggest country in the Middle East, so if ISIS starts
to head towards Saudi Arabia, then they will have a very good reason to fight against
ISIS. If they also care about their neighboring countries getting taken over by
the terrorist group, then they will support the cause as well.

But partnering up with Saudi Arabia can be very tricky.
Since Saudi Arabia and the United States are almost polar opposites on their
political views, religious views, and how their societies functions as a whole,
things can turn out to be bad for the U.S. in the future. Providing Saudi
Arabia with weapons and finances can backfire on us like what happened in Iraq
when we gave them weapons. If we give these weapons to them, they can use the
weapons against us in the future if we are not careful. Is it a risk that
America is willing to take again? We will find out in the future.
