For each of the 3 cards your class is assigned decide if it provides an observation that is detailed and strong, or one that is less strong and not as detailed and WHY you think this. Then order the cards strongest to weakest and explain your choices.

Card X: Strong and detailed because it specifically talks about the number and shape of holes in the skull

Card Y: less strong and less detailed because it only talks about the size of the teeth and that is not as helpful as the number or shape of the teeth.

Card Z: strong and detailed because it talks about the number of bones in the tail

Strongest to weakest: card x, card z, card y. I put card y last because it is the least strong evidence and is not detailed at all. While cards x and z were both detailed card x was more detailed because it talked about size and shape of the skull holes. While card z only talks about number of bones in the tail. So card z only has 1 very detailed piece of evidence while card x has 2 detailed pieces of evidence.

For evidence card D, which talks about the tail, is strong because the tail can be something useful when differentiating between two species. Was it well detailed? No not at all but it told me the bear minimum of what I need to know. Now for evidence cards E & F, which talks about the hands, these pieces were benificial because they were well detailed and very specific. I believe it is strong because there are numeral things that could be off between the mystery fossils hands and the the other spicies. Overall evidence card D was the strongest piece of evidence, second is E because it tells more and shows more than card F leaving card F as the weakest piece of evidence out of the 3.

Card G: Weak evidence and not detailed because the evidence explains that the tometti foot has four toes and that each toe has different sizes and that the end of the toes are pointy also that each toe has lots of bones.
Card H :Strong evidence and really detailed because the evidence explains that the tometti foot has four toes on each foot and that the toes on the left are smaller than the toes on the right. The evidence is numbered like the evidence on how many bones there are in each toe like 2,3,4,5 from left to right also ends off that the toes ar point on the end.
Card I : Weak evidence and not detailed because the evidence just explains the sholder bone of the tometti is curved at the point where the arm meets the sholder bone also that the sholder is the bone that connects the sholder to the rest of the body.

Strongest to weakest: Card H, G, I
because evidence card H was the most detailed card out of the three so that would make it the strongest. Then card G is second because G has some detail but not too much and does have evidence for the tometti. Finally card I is last because it was just poor evidence to explain the tometti's sholder bone.

Evidence Card E is the most strongest piece of evidence between cards D, E, and F. Since evidence card E is very detailed compared to D and F. I would day that D is the second most useful since it is informing us about the tail and it can be very similar to things like a crocodile tail. While I put F at last because the information given is very vague and is information you can already know by just looking at the fossil itself.

Evidence card E is the most detailed evidence card. It provides a very detailed description of the picture and points out important points to take away from the image. Evidence card D is second because it is not as descriptive but it mentions all the important parts of the picture and gives a well enough summary for you to understand the overall concept. Evidence card F is last because it is very vague and does not give much detail on the image. Much of the words used in the description are very vague and can be used to describe anything.

It also identifies the name of the picture and it describes what you are seeing. Second, it gives a lot of detail while D and F do not since they just include the basics. D and F do not give as much clear and specific information as E does and that is why I believe that Evidence Card E is the best observation because it gives you the best information in the best way possible.

Card G: Is not very detailed and is not strong, it only talks about the size and number of toes the Tometti Feet has, it is not detailed in it's description.

Card H: is very detailed and strong, it talks about the number of foot bones and toe bones that are in the Tometti Feet, and also talks about the appearance of the Tometti Feet in a clear and detailed way. For example Card H says "The Tometti fossil has four toes on each foot
(back limb). The bones on the left toe are very small."

Card I: is not very detailed or strong, it only talks about the appearance of the Tometti Shoulder Bone and is not specific at all. Card I also barely elaborates on the size and shape of the Tometti Shoulder Bone. For instance, Card I does not talk about how many bones are in the Tometti Shoulder Bone.

Strongest to weakest: Card H is the strongest card because it has more than two pieces of evidence about the Tometti feet than Card I and G have. Although card I talks about the Tometti shoulder bone, which is a different body structure from card H and G, card H still has more descriptive details. Card G is the second strongest, although card G does not have a lot of evidence, card G talks about the size and number of toes the Tometti Feet has, whereas, the weakest card, card I only talks about the appearance of the Tometti Shoulder Bone and is not specific.

Card G is not a strong piece of evidence because it is weak and is not very informative.
Card I: is not very detailed or strong, it only talks about the appearance of the Tometti Shoulder Bone and is not specific at all. Card I also barely elaborates on the size and shape of the Tometti Shoulder Bone.

Card G: is a strong evidence card because it describes everything we need to know about the foot but it isn't descriptive.
Card H: it is a stronger evidence card because it goes more in depth with each individual thing about the foot and it provides more information about it.
Card I: this evidence card is not very strong because it describes the shoulder bone but it could have been more descriptive.

Evidence Card G: is the weakest evidence card because it does graze the surface of all the info in the evidence card but there could be more said and the part where it says each toe has several bones is incorrect because even the toe with the most bones has less than several bones.

Evidence Card H: is the strongest evidence card because it goes in depth on the card and includes more info than evidence card g by breaking the info down into bullet points.

Evidence Card I:is the second strongest evidence card because compared to the other 2 evidence cards, evidence card I only has two bones in the card and still describes a lot of the image.

Evidence card E is a strong piece of evidence because it goes into detail about the observations. Evidence card F isn't as detailed as E, but still has important details and observations. Evidence card D doesn't go into to much detail it explains what we already can see instead of breaking it down.
