Sycorax died while Ariel was still imprisoned, and he would have been forever had Prospero not rescued him. After all this, he calms down, promises to free Ariel in two days, and gives him new orders to "make thyself like a nymph o' th' sea" and be visible to only Prospero.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Caliban is the son of Sycorax and a native to the island. Miranda cries against seeing him, saying he is a "villain" but Prospero insists. Upon seeing him, Prospero immediately begins verbally abusing him, calling him wicked and telling him he is unfit to live among other human beings. Caliban protests this abuse and his enslavement (rightfully so), but Prospero calls him an ungrateful liar and reminds him of the education he tried to give Caliban. Caliban then responds that he only knows how to be wicked and lie because of this education. Prospero does not like this, and he sends him to fetch firewood under threat of more cramps and aches if he is not obeyed. The interaction is very racist.</div>]]></description>
