There was planes flying above us as we were laying down in the trenches. We were scared that the planes would drop bombs on us while we were in the trenches, whenever we heard a "boom" we flinched and ducked down.

When I was a kid, I had a pet rat named Jeremy, and I loved him so very much. He wouldn't hurt a fly. Now I despise all rats, including Jeremy. What would little me think of that? I don't know that his opinion matters anymore. He wasn't in the trenches with hundreds of them. They are evil creatures that hate us and wish only death upon us. They nibble at your toes while you sleep, and they give you diseases while doing so. THE RATS ARE EVIL.
