We can understand something easily without metaphors, sure, but some people find it easier and more tangible to use metaphors. Even using seemingly useless tidbits of information can still be applied to further someone's understanding, such as talking about a new movie and comparing it to other movies. Ex. Jurassic World is just like Predator but with one big dinosaur. Even if it doesn't apply to a profession, we still constantly apply our own knowledge into everyday conversation!</div>]]></description>
