The English language is constantly evolving, however, when working with ThinkHigher- and in any workplace- it is important to avoid using swear words, slang, dark humour, derogatory remarks or insults and personal rants. * You are supporting a ThinkHigher event and leading a group activity. The group is really engaged, loud and involved. You notice one young person is sitting further back, quiet and using their phone.... what do you do?

* You are showing a group of young people around a university when a member of staff stops you and aggressively shouts "What do you think you are doing? Get out!"... what do you do?

If this does happen take time to listen to what the person is saying and once they have finished it is important that you refer this person on to a member of the ThinkHigher team as soon as possible. 

This is called ‘Safeguarding’; it is ensuring that the person receives support from the right people to keep them safe and well.
