What I hope to learn in this class?

I would like to become an elementary school teacher because I love working with kids. I love the idea of making an impact in students’lives. I believe that teaching is more than just providing academic material. Teaching is about providing love and support for students along with necessary tools for student success and future. In other words, teaching is a rewarding career in which she will have the opportunity of making a difference. In this class, I want to learn about distinct ways in which I can facilitate instruction for CLD students. I struggled during elementary school because of being an English learner. Although, I was a bright student, I had difficulty expressing my thoughts and demonstrating my potential when it came to speaking or using the English language. I was considered a low-level student because of this. Therefore, I want to expand my knowledge on how to apply techniques that will enhance CLD students.
