The good simaratin is a parable about a man going from Jerusalem to Jericho. The traveler is stripped and beat and was left along side the road to die. A priest walked past the man on the road but he walked straight past him. Then a Levite walked past the man and also decides to walk straight past him. Next a Samaritan walked past the man, he bandaged him up and put him on his donkey and helped the man. The author of this wrote this to encourage people to be like the good Samaritan, to help the people who need it and not to just walk past them if they are in need of help.
