The activities we made around this project that shaped with the values "Empathy, Nature Love, Animal Love, Interest and productivity in art" are mostly connected to our curriculum's basic values and qualifications.

We indeed try to associate the values with the curriculum. The project was really helpful and fun for giving the students main goals.

For example in November we focused on Empathy for that:
-We visited Nursing Home for old people, we gave a concert based on Turkish Classical Music. We made monthly visits and made a book about the memories we made with them.
-We gave a seminar to the our friends.
-We made an empathy video clip.
-We made an empathy song.

These activities are related to:
Social and civil qualifications , Cultural awareness and self-expression , Communication in native language , helpfulness, friendship.

In December for love of nature:
-We made a trip to Bolu and organize a photo compitition between students.

For love of animals:
-Some of our students adopted homeless cats.
-we gave food for homeless animals like cats and dogs.
-We made a seminar about it.

These activities are related to:
Social and civil qualifications , Cultural awareness and self-expression , Communication in native language , helpfulness, friendship.

In January for interest and productivity in art:
-We taught how to paint to our teachers.
-We made Turkish classic arts like ebru.
-We went to a play.
-We organize a song compitition based on Turkish folk music.

Ülkemizde de 2010- 2011 eğitim ve öğretim yılından itibaren okullarımızda değerler eğitimi verilmeye başlanmıştır.

Değerler eğitimi ile gerçekleştirilmek istenen hedefler şu şekilde belirtilmiştir: Öğrencilere temel insanî değer ve erdemlerin kazandırılması, değerlere karşı duyarlılık oluşturulması ve değerlerin davranışa dönüştürülmesi. Toplum tarafından kabul gören değerlerin uygun okul ortamı oluşturularak geliştirilmesi ve pekiştirilmesi. Öğrencilerin sorumluluk duygularının geliştirilmesi.

Öğrencilerin akademik bilgi ve gerçek hayatta rehberlik edecek ahlaki değerlerle donatılmış olarak yetiştirilmesi. Kültürel değerlerimizin güçlendirilmesi, Okul ve çevresindeki sosyal yaşamın ahlaki ve etik değerlere uygun olarak şekillenmesi,“ Ahlak Temelli Disiplin ” kavramının yerleştirilmesi. Öğrencilerde ahlaki bir topluluk bilincinin oluşturulması.

Değerler eğitimi ile çocuklara, olumsuz tavır ve davranışlardan uzak kalmalarının yanında, temel insani değerleri öğretme ve içselleştirmelerini sağlama, ahlaki değerleri yaşam biçimi haline getirme, bazı olumlu becerileri kazanma, evrensel değerleri öğrenme ve benimseme hedeflenmektedir.

Değerler eğitimi, İnsan Hakları Evrensel Beyannamesinde belirtilen: İnsanlar arasında ırk, renk, dil, din, cinsiyet ayırımı yapmadan özgürlük, eşitlik, kardeşlik ve insan haklarına saygı gösterilmesi gerektiğini öğretmeyi amaçlar.
