         <title>Converting a Fraction Into a Decimal</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>When you convert a fraction to a decimal you have to take the denominator and divide it by the numerator.</p><p>Ex. 10/20 = 0.5 because when you divide 10 into 20 you have to make it into a decimal because your dividend is smaller than your divisor. When that happenes all you have to do is take your decimal place value and put it down as part of your answer, then you can do the rest of the work...</p><p>Below is an image of how to set up your division problem...</p>]]></description>

         <title>Converting a Decimal Into a Fraction</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>When you convert a Decimal into a fraction you have to take the decimal and see what the place value is. When you get the place value, you have to find out the number (Hint: It is the part after the decimal point)  and say the decimal is 0.9 your original fraction would be a 9/10 but you would have to find out if you should simplify your fraction or not. So with my example of 9/10 you couldn't simplify it because 3 is the only thing that can go into 9 and 3 can't go into 10. And when you have a decimal like 1.9 it would mean you have a whole number in your answer, so your answer for 1.9 would be 1 and 9/10. The 1 is for how many whole numbers you have in your decimal, in this decimal you only have 1 so your answer will only have 1 whole.</p>]]></description>

         <title>How-to on Dividing Decimals</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>When you divide with a decimal as your dividend you have to bring up your Decimal point, then you can just divide how you normally do. But when you Divide when the divisor is the decimal, you have to make it become a whole number, so you would have to make your number go from a decimal to a whole number, so if you had 2.6 as your divisor you would have to make 2.6 become 26 by moving the place value to the right. you also have to do the same with the dividend, when you move the place value of the divisor a sertain amount of times, you have to move the Dividend the same amount of times.</p><p>So say you divided 2.6 and 41. you would have to make that into a whole number so you would really be dividing 26 and 410, because your 0 is always a place holder.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Is when the fractions appear to be different, but they are really the same if you multiply the numerator and the denominator by the same number. </p><p>so If you had 1/3= 2/6= 4/12 because if you multiply 1x2=2, and 3x2=6  you would get 2/6 and then if you multiply 2x2=4 and 2x6= 12 you would end up with 4/12. </p><p>An antonym of Equivalent Fractions is inverse because inverse means the opposite of something, Equivalent Fractions are the same.</p><p>Here is the link I found on Equivalent Fractions, Please click on "view original" at the top right hand corner of the page when you open it...</p>]]></description>

The Improper Fraction for 3   1/2 is   7/2 </p><p>With 7 being the numerator and 2 being the denominator.</p><p>An antonym for Improper Fraction is a mixed fraction because a mixed fraction is a proper whole number and fraction. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p> When multiplying decimals first you have to make the decimal into a whole number. once you make your decimal into a whole number you have to simply multiply your decimals ( which are now whole numbers). when you are done with that, you have to simply take the amount of times you moved your decimal place, and then move the decimal place from right to left however many times you did at the beginning.  </p><p>This is a link I found to give off an example of how-to.</p>]]></description>
