The SOLO Taxonomy is used widely now in Higher Education, but is a concept also seen in schools and FE

Feel free to use and modify this chart to measure distance travelled. You could add numbers. turn it into a fuel gauge (great from farm mechanisation or motor vehicle students. These work as both a visual group measure or as an individual learner measure.
